In high school he took an aeronautics class for his Junior and Senior year and had the opportunity to fly in an EAA award winning Vans RV-6 with his aeronautics instructor. This flight only fueled his passion for flight. In 2012 he began flying and earned an Associates Degree in Flight Technology from Lane Community College. While in college he worked as an intern at the KEUG tower and Cascade TRACON where he saw first hand the inner workings of ATC.
Kellen has an incredible passion for teaching and has enjoyed every minute of flight instructing.
